Used Carvin Vintage 50 tweed Tube Guitar Amp Amplifier Head with Master Volume Mod Made in the USA

Up for sale is a used Carvin Vintage 50 tweed tube guitar amp head. This one was just gone through in our shop and is ready to play. This one has been modified, with a switch and knob on the left side of the control panel: the switch, when tested, really doesn’t do anything discernible that we could make out. The switch next to it changes the channel on the amp. The mini switch in the middle is, we believe, a mid scoop: in the up position, it brightens the tone; in the down position, it darkens the tone. The select knob in the middle of the control panel is wired up to be a master volume control. Everything works and the amp sounds great. It is in very good cosmetic condition, with just minor handling wear; no tears in the tweed. Check out the pictures for the condition. The amp was made in the USA, serial number 159846.
