1965 Mosrite Ventures Model Vintage Short Scale Bass Guitar, Pearl White w/ Case

Up for sale, a 1965 Mosrite Ventures Model bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A genuine vintage USA-made example, this Mosrite bass was crafted in Bakersfield, CA, 100% original save for a modern pair of potentiometers. The body has a prominent German Carve, and the heavily figured flame maple neck (an unusual feature on any vintage Mosrite) is capped by a bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Strung with 45-100 DAddario Chromes flatwound strings, the bass has a bold thump and thick growl via the hotly wound neck position single coil. This Mosrite weighs 9lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mikes Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation. Cosmetic wear includes a cluster of small dings on top along the pick path, a small area of buckle wear central to the back, and a number of minor nicks on the body as a whole, largely clustered along the lower bout perimeter. The smooth ambered gloss is nigh flawless, highlighting tight, straight flame figuring extending the length of the neck.
