Up for sale, a 1966 Mosrite Ventures Model bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. A genuine vintage USA-made example, this bass was crafted in Bakersfield, CA. Tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and this bass has a 30 1/2″ scale length. Strung with 50-105 roundwound strings, the bass delivers bold bark and growl, with thick low end thump with the Tone knob rolled back to taste. This Mosrite weighs 9lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mikes Guitar Bar with easy-playing action and accurate intonation. Wear is more restrained on the back and body perimeter, with just a few small dings and minor marks, along with light finish checking at the edges of the neck pocket. The gloss is very smooth on the neck profile, with a number of shallow marks that dont distract the palm while fretting.
