You can attach your smartphone to view and capture images. This microscope comes with three objective lenses for magnification powers of 60x, 150x, and 600x. This 45-piece set allows kids to collect specimens and prepare slides. Kids can start off with the three prepared slides, which lets them see up close two types of leaves and an onion bulb epidermis. Then kids can find their own samples for the eight blank slides and slide labels. Some suggestions are pond water, human hair, salt crystals, dust particles, and pollen grains. The instructions walk kids through how to use the microscope, how to use the smartphone adapter, and how to prepare slides. Adults may need to help out with some of the sample collection and preparation. The instructions also explain how a microscope works. This also comes with 16 cover slips, three specimen vials, a petri dish, a test tube, tweezers, a pipette, a stirring rod, and a spatula.
